The biggest star here is the famous Borneo orchid, especially the Normah Orchid (Phalaenopsis bellina), which is the official state flower of Sarawak.

Getting There

- By Walk (Darul Hana Bridge): You can take a scenic walk across the beautiful Darul Hana Bridge from the Kuching Waterfront. Once you cross over the river, simply follow the walkway signs straight to the garden.
- By Boat (Penambang): For a traditional experience, take a small wooden boat called a penambang from the Kuching Waterfront. It only costs a small fee (around RM1 per way). It will drop you off on the other side, and from there, it is just a short walk.
- By Car or E-hailing: You can easily book a Grab ride from your hotel. It is only a short 10-minute drive over the bridge from the city centre.

- Bring Water: It gets hot very quickly, so bring a bottle of drinking water to stay hydrated.
- Use Mosquito Repellent: Because it is a garden with lots of plants and water features, there can be mosquitoes. Spray some repellent before you start your walk.
