If you are looking for a quiet place to escape the busy city life, Pandan Beach is a lovely choice.
Located in Kampung Pandan, Lundu, this beautiful beach is about two hours away from Kuching city.
Facing the wide South China Sea, it is a favourite local spot for a relaxing weekend getaway with family and friends.
Highlights of the attraction
Pandan Beach is loved for its long stretch of clean sand and peaceful environment.
Because it is not heavily commercialised, you get to enjoy nature in its raw form. Visitors can safely swim in the clear water, walk along the coastline, or set up a picnic under the shady trees.
Since the beach is located next to a traditional fishing village, you might see local fishermen returning with their daily catch.
If you visit during the right season, you can even join in fun activities like prawning or jellyfish scooping. In the evening, the beach offers one of the most stunning sunset views in the area.
Operating time, suggested time to spend & dressing when visiting

Tips when visiting
- Bring enough cash: There are no ATMs at the beach. You will need cash to buy snacks, drinks, or pay for parking and toilet facilities.
- Know the best time to swim: The sea is calm and perfect for swimming from March to October. Avoid swimming from November to February, as the monsoon season brings rough waves and strong winds.

- Keep the beach clean: Please bring your own rubbish bags and take your trash back with you. Let us work together to keep the beach beautiful.
- Pack sun protection: The midday sun is very hot. Apply sunblock to prevent sunburns.
