Original Macam2 Ada Ramadhan Buffet at Grand Margherita Hotel
Once again, Grand Margherita Hotel offers a feast of local and international delicacies exclusively for the Original Macam2 Ada Ramadhan Buffet Dinner for breaking fast at Poolside Pavilion, fronting the Sarawak River, for this year’s Ramadhan.
The Original Macam2 Ada Ramadhan Buffet Dinner is available from 17th May until 14th June this year. The price for adult is RM93 nett and for child is RM37 nett. A wide selection of more than 100 local and international cuisines were available for diners to savour. The culinary team under the stewardship of Chef Andrew have whipped up the feast with a spread of specialties presented at live action stalls.
Chef Hairin Putra, who was flown in specially from Indonesia for this occasion, offers cuisines that are irresistible to your palate. Must-try dishes amongst others are Semur Daging Sapi, Opor Ayam, Ayam Bumbu Bali, Krengseng Daging Sapi, Cumi Masak Pedas, Rawon Daging Sapi, Botok Ikan, Ikan Acar Kuning, Ayam Taliwang and Ayam Woku-Woku. Also not forgetting the all-time favourite chefs from Penang ready to serve you Penang famous dishes of Penang Char Kueh Tiaw, Penang Loh Bak, Hokkien Prawn Mee Soup, Pasembur and Penang Asam Laksa.
The buffet spread also serves local kampung dishes such as Umai Ikan, Umai Udang, Bubur Pedas, Paru Goreng Rempah, Daging Rendang with Lemang, Wok Fried Golden Prawn, Sambal Tumis Petai with Udang, Ikan Pais, Manok Pansuh, Ekor Lembu Assam Pedas, Cangkuk Manis dengan Labu Kuning Masak Lemak, Nasi Goreng Kampong and Nasi Goreng Dabai
The feast also features Japanese and Western dishes, such as Sushi/Maki, Kikkoman, Chuka Wakame, Chuka Korage, Sakana Katsu, Ika Katsu, pasta and pizza selection. Other than that, live Barbeque station and Wok Station also will be serves at the feast which are including Foo Yong Hai, Deep Fried Yam Roll, Crispy Bean Curd, roasted chicken, Minute Steak and a selection of sausages.
This year, there will be Middle Eastern Cuisine Carving station that serves Lamb Rice, Potatoes or Selection of Vegetables, Houmus/Puree of Chick Peas, Moutabil (Eggplant Paste) and Tabolah (Herbs with Burgol). Not only that, this buffet will have Mediterranean Spring Roasted Chicken with Stew Cumin & Sautee Potato, Roasted Vegetables and Lebanese Bread.
